Kate joined Eaton Senior Communities, a non-profit affordable housing provider for seniors, in June 2015 as the Resident Services Coordinator. In 2018, she was promoted to Director of Community Development and manages the Eaton Senior Communities Foundation. Prior to joining Eaton, Kate earned an undergraduate degree in “Program Coordination for Integrative Health” from Metropolitan State University of Denver. In 2017, she was a co-recipient of the “Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Award for Health Equity” for her work on academic partnerships in senior housing. Kate is a Fellow of the 2018 LeadingAge Larry Minnix Leadership Academy. In addition, Kate has been recognized as an “Emerging Leader” by LeadingAge Colorado and a “Health Scholar” by The Aspen Institute. Kate is passionate about community development, intergenerational exchange, health equity, affordable housing and integrative healthcare. In her free time, you will likely find her hiking in the mountains with her two dogs, doing yoga at home with her cat or eating at local restaurants with her partner.
